Reduce Inflammation To Heal Acne

I’ve started reviewing online posts to help people heal and maintain healthy skin with no drugs involved. Let’s talk about how to heal acne. To heal skin naturally, you first have to understand what inflammation is.

The theme of many skin conditions like acne, eczema, and psoriasis is internal inflammation. The foods we eat release inflammatory chemicals (cytokines, leukotrienes, prostaglandins, etc.) from various white blood cells (neutrophils, monocytes, eosinophils, lymphocytes). When too many chemicals are released, the immune system starts to overreact and send signals to the skin.

It is the single most important event that leads to negative skin conditions. Patients and dermatologists wrongly focus on fixing the skin when it’s actually a gut inflammation problem. The best solution is to reduce gut inflammation by taking a food sensitivity test.

Drugs Reduce Inflammation Artificially

Here is a Redditor who has been prescribed Doxycycline for his acne that has some anti-inflammatory properties. This is a very popular antibiotic that lazy doctors will give out like candy as a “one drug fits all” solution. What the Redditor doesn’t know is that antibiotics will also kill off the healthy bacteria in his gut that can lead to long-term damage in the skin and his gut!

I was constipated for 2 weeks while on Doxycycline because my gut microbiome (healthy bacteria) had been completely destroyed from taking antibiotics. Trying to poop after that was one of the most painful experiences I’ve ever lived through…a hellish nightmare that I don’t want anyone to experience.

Let’s dive into the mechanism of action behind Doxycycline. What does it actually do?

Doxycycline: Commonly Prescribed Antibiotic By Lazy Doctors

Doxycycline is a broad-spectrum antibiotic synthetically derived from oxytetracycline. This drug is a second-generation tetracycline, exhibiting lesser toxicity than first-generation tetracyclines.

The tetracyclines, including doxycycline, are mainly bacteriostatic and are thought to exert antimicrobial effects by the inhibition of protein synthesis. Bacteriostatic antibiotics suppress the growth of bacteria, or keep them in the stationary phase of growth.

Tetracyclines such as doxycycline are thought to inhibit translation by binding to the 16S rRNA portion of the ribosome, preventing binding of tRNA to the RNA-30S bacterial ribosomal subunit, which is necessary for the delivery of amino acids for protein synthesis. As a result of the above actions, the initiation of protein synthesis by polyribosome formation is blocked. This stops the replication of bacteria and produces a bacteriostatic effect.

Doxycycline Tries To Kill Off C. Acnes Bacteria

Acne is linked to an overgrowth of the C. Acnes (formerly P. Acnes) bacteria in the sebaceous glands. An overgrowth of C. Acnes in the gut can lead to an overgrowth of this bacteria in the skin.

Western medicine thinks using generic antibiotics like Doxycycline will heal acne because the C. Acnes in the gut will somehow die which eventually translates to healing the skin. Unfortunately, antibiotics do more harm than good by killing off the healthy bacteria in the gut needed for healthy skin! The excessive use of antibiotics has also made C. Acnes stronger and more resistance to the effects of these synthetic drugs.

Healthy Gut = Healthy Skin

The overgrowth of C. Acnes in the skin actually results from an unhealthy gut! The health of your skin is directly linked to the health of your gut and it’s called the gut-skin axis. Healthy Gut = Healthy Skin

Inflammatory Foods Cause Acne

Inflammatory foods contain ingredients (Omega 6s, Arachidonic Acid, etc.) that directly increase inflammation inside the cell membranes and cell nucleus! Inflammatory foods also increase sebum production that leads to an overgrowth of C. Acnes bacteria. Remember guys: FOOD is the ultimate medicine, but it can also be the ultimate poison.

Focus More On Food, Less On Puberty

Most doctors blame it on puberty, and they’ll tell you diet has nothing to do with acne! Doxycycline will never heal your skin properly if you continue eating inflammatory foods. Junk foods directly release inflammatory chemicals found in the Inflammation boxes below, and yet most medical textbooks still blame puberty.

Fire Your Doctor Or Dermatologist

“My dermatologist said she hasn’t seen studies about diet helping. But I feel like maybe she’s just going based off textbooks and not other peoples experiences with leaky gut and etc.”

I read so many posts like this and it makes me fucking furious. Health professionals are in charge of the quality of YOUR LIFE and they ignore the benefits of diet and nutrition??? What. The. Fuck.

I wrote a blog post (link below) to describe why your dermatologist is a clown and a joke.

A Good Diet Reduces Inflammation Naturally

Your immune system interprets the junk food you’re eating as foreign invaders attacking the body. In response, it releases inflammatory chemicals to fight them off. These inflammatory chemicals directly cause skin problems and other autoimmune diseases.

Your drugs artificially block the release of these inflammatory chemicals to reduce inflammation. The natural way to heal is to stop eating inflammatory foods. You will never heal properly if you continue eating inflammatory foods.

Recommending Supplements To Heal Acne

I highly recommend taking my Omega 3 oil to reduce the inflammatory effects of certain foods. It helps to reduce inflammation inside your cell membranes which improves your cell nucleus and helps you heal acne much quicker.

I also recommend my Collagen Powder since 75% of your skin is made up of collagen! It’s the most abundant protein inside our bodies. Acne will destroy the collagen inside your cheeks which ends up forming acne scars! Replacing the damaged collagen is crucial for healthy and clear skin.

Recommending The Food Sensitivity Test To Heal Acne

I now work with the research lab that saved my skin, and it can help you heal acne naturally. They have 3 US Patents for their food sensitivity test that analyzes 170 different foods, and they have the highest level of accuracy at 94% sensitivity and 92% specificity.

This is the future of healthcare because it is personalized and customized to YOUR specific body. Fad diets are a joke! You can be sensitive to any of the foods in any of the diets.

Remember guys: FOOD is the ultimate medicine, but it can also be the ultimate poison.

If you’re interested, email healthyskincoach@gmail.com and I will gladly connect you to the research lab.

If the test is out of your budget, you can book an appointment with me! I will share everything I have learned in healing my skin to help you heal yours!
