To heal skin naturally, you first have to understand what inflammation is. The theme of many skin conditions like acne, eczema, and psoriasis is internal inflammation. The foods we eat release inflammatory chemicals (cytokines, leukotrienes, prostaglandins, etc.) from various white blood cells (neutrophils, monocytes, eosinophils, lymphocytes). Here is a Redditor who tried using Steroid Creams and Cyclosporine to heal his eczema but with no success. In fact, these drugs are causing him long-term damage to the skin!

Let’s dive into the mechanism of action behind 1. Steroid Creams and 2. Cyclosporine. What do they actually do?

1. Steroid Creams

Steroid creams inhibit the inflammatory downstream effects of Phospholipase A2 to reduce inflammation in the cell membranes and cell nucleus. Inflammatory foods contain ingredients (Omega 6s, Arachidonic Acid, etc.) that directly increase inflammation inside the cell membranes and cell nucleus! Steroid creams will never heal your skin properly if you continue eating inflammatory foods. I recommend my Omega 3 oil to directly inhibit the inflammatory effects of Omega 6s!

Steroid creams should only be used for a maximum of 2 weeks. Some people have been using it for years. If your skin hasn’t healed by then, it should tell you that drugs are not the solution. 2. Cyclosporine

Cyclosporine will never heal your skin properly if you continue eating inflammatory foods.
